TireHub, the tire distribution joint venture between Bridgestone Americas Inc. and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., is marking two years in business. The company has 70 distribution centers nationwide.
During its first two years in operation, TireHub opened four warehouses in new and existing markets. It also relocated eight warehouses “to meet product demand” in various metropolitan areas. This year, TireHub plans to relocate a distribution center in Sacramento, Calif., “to meet customer demands and better serve the market,” according to company officials.
“At TireHub, we pride ourselves on our ability to meet the needs of our customers,” says Sylvia Wilks, vice president of operations. “That focus has been even more important amidst the uncertainty of the last few months. We’ve adapted our business to ensure our customers are receiving the support they need to weather the pandemic. We’ve helped put consumers on tires they’ll love, and we’ve proven how important our individual relationships are to the success of our company and to our customers.”
