Consumer Reports recently included Chinese tires in a 20-tire comparison test. The Chinese tires finished 18th, 19th and 20th, respectively.
Does that make all Chinese tires potentially poor values? Does CR's tire program manager think that?! Does Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich think that?!

The Consumer Report report is timely given the United States government's interest in the record number of consumer tires imported from China. But is the report true, misleading or flat-out wrong?
