ATD Makes Key Executive Appointments

American Tire Distributors (ATD) has promoted Todd Sanders to chief sales officer and has named Keith Calcagno chief strategy officer, proprietary brands.

Sanders will lead ATD’s sales organization, customer service operations and Tire Pros franchise development. "He will be responsible for driving a comprehensive sales strategy across all channels, with a focus on alignment, performance and deepening customer engagement," say ATD officials.

"Sanders brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive aftermarket. Most recently, he served as ATD’s senior vice president of business development and strategy, where he played a pivotal role in guiding growth initiatives and aligning new opportunities with the company’s long-term vision."

Prior to joining ATD, Sanders held senior leadership roles at Advance Auto Parts and CarQuest Auto Parts, where he led sales growth.

Calcagno will lead "the development and execution of ATD’s long-term strategy for its private label brands, with a focus on driving growth, innovation and profitability. A seasoned ATD executive, Calcagno has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction for more than two decades. 

"He has led the development of new business ventures and forged key partnerships with leading tire and wheel brands," say ATD officials. "His strong financial background includes leadership roles in corporate and supply chain finance and strategic planning at DaimlerChrysler (now Stellantis) and K-Mart."
