American Kenda Rubber Co. Ltd. held its final “2023 Kenda Light Truck Boot Camp” in mid-November and MTD was invited to participate. The three-day event, held in Arizona, included classroom training and over two days of putting light truck tires through their off-road paces. According to Brandon Stotsenburg, vice president of automotive for Kenda, the intent of the program is to show Kenda customers how well its tires perform head-to-head against higher-tiered brands that come at a higher price point, "and to have fun". The proving ground for the event? It is the 27.3-mile Backway to Crown King trail.
