Nexen Earns Kia Seltos Fitment

Kia has selected the Nexen all-season N’Priz S and N’Fera AU7 tires to be original equipment (OE) on the new Kia Seltos.

The N’Priz S, which fits the 16 and 18-inch wheel options, are suitable for electric vehicles, hybrids and internal combustion vehicles, officials say.

"With their optimized block design, they deliver excellent mileage and a quiet, comfortable ride," according to Nexen. 

The N’Fera AU7 tires, which fit the 19-inch wheel option, are designed for "stable performance at high speeds and create a smooth ride. The reinforced structure and optimized tread pattern ensure stable handling, while Nexen Tire’s Noise Reduction System (NRS) helps reduce interior noise by absorbing resonance inside the tire."

This new OE announcement is part of Nexen's mission to position itself in the high-inch wheel segment, particularly for SUVs. The company supplies a growing range of equipment for SUVs and pickup trucks, including the Hyundai Palisade, Kia EV5 and others.
