Hyundai Picks Nexen for New Grandeur Fitment

Nexen Tire Inc.'s N'Fera Supreme S will be the original equipment (OE) tires for the "facelifted version" of Hyundai's flagship sedan, ‘The New Grandeur.’
The company is continuing its OE collaboration with Hyundai following its OE tire supply for the initial version of the seventh-generation Grandeur.
The N'Fera Supreme S, Nexen's ultra-high performance tire for premium vehicles, is equipped with "sound-absorbing materials" incorporating its NRS (Noise Reduction System) technology, which reduces resonance noise generated during driving.
"The tire also incorporates AI-based load distribution technology and a 4D compound to provide outstanding grip and high-speed driving stability," according to Nexen officials. "Optimized sipe and groove designs help maintain stable performance even after wear, while the aerodynamic sidewall design reduces rolling resistance and improves fuel efficiency."
The tire company has also supplied the N'Fera Supreme S for flagship models including ‘The All-New Palisade’ SUV and ‘The All-New NEXO,’ Korea’s first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell electric SUV.
