Yokohama Continues Partnership with B.A.S.S.

Yokohama Tire Corp. is continuing to raise awareness of its Geolandar truck and CUV/SUV tires to outdoor enthusiasts and the fishing community through its partnership with B.A.S.S. and its series of tournament leagues for bass fishing, Bassmaster.

Yokohama Tire Corp. is continuing to raise awareness of its Geolandar truck and CUV/SUV tires to outdoor enthusiasts and the fishing community through its partnership with B.A.S.S. and its series of tournament leagues for bass fishing, Bassmaster.

The tiremaker announced it will sponsor multiple Bassmaster events for the third consecutive year, including at the Bassmaster Classic Weigh-in in Knoxville, Tenn., in March, the Bassmaster Classic Celebrity Pro-Am, also in Knoxville, and at the Elite Series Tournament at Santee Cooper Lakes in South Carolina in May.

“We're looking forward to another successful year connecting with Bassmaster's passionate fan base about our wide range of rugged Geolandar tires," says Candace Cogan, Yokohama’s director of product marketing.

“Bassmaster fans are among the most loyal and engaged in sports, and Yokohama has continually demonstrated a commitment to enhancing their experience, both on-site and through our media platforms,” says Phillip Johnson, chief operating officer of B.A.S.S.

“Their GEOLANDAR lineup has become a trusted favorite for anglers and outdoorsmen, and we’re thrilled to expand our partnership across some of the most visible and exciting moments of the Bassmaster season.”

Yokohama will have multiple fan touchpoints throughout the season with interactive displays, giveaways, Team Yokohama appearances and cross-promotions into Yokohama’s off-road motorsport properties, say Yokohama officials.
