Percheron Capital/Big Brand Tire & Service recently acquired three independent tire dealerships in Arizona - Community Tire Pros & Auto Repair, S&S Tire & Auto Service Center and C&R Tire.
Terms of the transactions have not been disclosed.
Community Tire Pros, formerly owned by Howard Fleischmann, has five locations in Phoenix and one in Glendale, Ariz.
S&S Tire, which was founded by Bob Slagle in 1976, has locations in Goodyear, Peoria and Surprise, Ariz. It was most recently owned by Bob Slagle's son, Rob Slagle, and his family.
C&R Tire has a location in Scottsdale, Ariz., a store in Anthem, Ariz., and three stores in Phoenix.
In a statement provided to MTD, Percheron states that “Big Brand is committed to being the best steward possible for the legacy each business’s founders have created, investing heavily in technology and equipment, employee benefits, training and career development, and the providing right tools and programs to allow these businesses to continue thriving and delivering a best-in-class customer and employee experience.”
Percheron/Big Brand made a number of acquisitions during 2021, including the purchase of nearly 110 American Tire Depot retail stores and 15 Integrity Tire stores in California, plus nine Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. retail outlets in Arizona and six Tire World Auto Repair stores in Colorado.
These transactions closed during the fourth quarter.
